According to national policies such as the "Regulations on Map Management" and "Regulations on Map Review Management", starting from January 1, 2018, all maps in articles published by "Resource Science" must pass the review of relevant national departments.

The administrative department in charge of surveying and mapping geographic information under the State Council is responsible for the review of the following maps: (1) national maps and maps primarily representing administrative regions of two or more provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government; (2) Maps of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macau Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan region; (3) World maps and maps primarily representing foreign countries; (4) Historical maps.

The administrative departments in charge of surveying and mapping geographic information under the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government are responsible for reviewing maps that are mainly reflected within their respective administrative regions. Among them, maps that do not involve national boundaries within the administrative area of cities with districts shall be reviewed by the surveying and mapping geographic information administrative department of the people's government of cities with districts.



In view of this, the author is kindly requested to pay attention to:

1. All map content in the article that can be represented by both tables and maps is recommended to be represented by tables.

2. If it is necessary to use a map representation, deleting the map will affect the academic quality and content integrity of the article. Please refer to the standard map service website of the National Bureau of Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information( http://bzdt.nasg.gov.cn/index.jsp )Or download relevant geographic maps from the official website of the local map, and add the necessary information without changing the map. For maps involving national boundaries, the boundary lines of Aksaiqin and southern Tibet in the national map should be correct, including Taiwan Island, Hainan Island, Diaoyu Island, Chiwei Island, South China Sea Islands and other important islands.

3. The content added on the base of the map, especially the text, must be editable to modify the font size if necessary. The author of each map must indicate that the review number downloaded from the standard map service website of the National Bureau of Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information is ××× Standard map production with no modifications to the base map "or" This map is based on ×× The review number downloaded from the provincial standard map service website is ××× Standard map production with no modifications to the base map.
